This policy sets out what you must not do with Compounding Energy services. Breach may result in immediate suspension or termination.
You will not use the services to violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right, including export-control rules, sanctions regimes, or intellectual-property law.
No scraping at rates that exceed your tier's limits; no attempts to circumvent authentication, billing, or rate limiting; no probing of infrastructure beyond standard application use.
Forecast outputs and infrastructure datasets are licensed for your own use only. You may not resell, sublicense, or republish them as a derivative product without a written redistribution agreement. Free downloads — taken on a free CEAtlas account, or the day's free sample taken without one — are for your own use; do not redistribute them. An attribution to CEAtlas (Compounding Energy) is requested; each file carries the account id, or a free-sample mark, and the time it was issued.
API keys are per-user. Sharing a single key across multiple individuals or services that should be separate users is a breach.
If you intend to wire forecast outputs directly into an automated trading system, please tell us — we want to ensure your tier and SLA fit your use case, and we may have technical guidance to share.
